slate.com is completely jammed up and unavailable–they are posting the raw exit polling data, which is looking very very good in lots of states where the data needs to look good.
i am cautiously optimistic, which is about as optimistic as i ever get, although kerry’s lead in ohio and florida are razor thin.
lots of junk food to munch on tonight. it was kirk’s idea to eat, for dinner, food indigenous to swing states. i bought tortilla chips and salsa, veggie buffalo wings and bleu cheese dressing, corn dogs, and german potato salad. and diet rite soda.
I’ll let you tie the food to the state. some are not so obvious.
